Jerusalem in the American Public Opinion Polls …before Trump and After

Jerusalem and its situation is a critical issue in the Arab Israeli conflict, and since years the US presidents has postponed transferring the US embassy to the Holy city as most of the countries, the United Nations, the world public opinions, and even the American public Opinions refuses to have the city the capital of Israel and to move their embassy to it .
As Trump decided his historical decision to move the U.S embassy, a lot of reaction happened and one might be affection the American public opinion.
I will identify the trends of American public opinion on the issue of ـ Jerusalem, through analyzing and studying the results of opinion polls regarding this subject during the period of 15 years before Trump administration and after .
The importance of this study comes through its contribution in a deeper knowledge and understanding the American public opinion view of Jerusalem and the effect of the president on public opinion .
Based on the theme of the study and the nature of its research problem, I will use the comparative and the quantitative analysis approaches.
